Since 2008, the Foundation has raised over $100,000 from more than 60 donors. A donor tree in the hallway outside the school office shows the recognition levels that
range from $250 to over $1000. These gifts allow the Foundation to provide supplemental funding to the Canton School District to help fill the gaps that occur with the current system of education funding. Your donations and memorials will have a long lasting impact on the quality of education for today's Canton student. Direct your gift by mail to: Canton Public Schools K-12 Foundation PO Box 332 Canton, SD 57013 or donate online: Click "Donate Now" and select "Canton Public Schools K-12 Foundation" in the Designated Fund list

Donor Highlight
The Canton Public Schools K-12 Foundation recently received a $14,000 gift from the Class of 1966. The class held their 50 year reunion this past September during Homecoming. During their reunion, they toured the school facilities where they stopped at the recognition tree in the hallway. Kathy Hill (class of 1966) presented the idea of raising funds for the K-12 Foundation that evening. They began collecting donations and by the end of the night, $14,000 had been raised for the Foundation. Two classmates deserve special thanks for their donations, Steve Grove and Butch White, whose participation helped raise a significant portion of the donation. "We want to challenge other classes to do the same thing and raise money for the Foundation," Hill said. "The K-12 Foundation really does so much for the students and is a legacy gift that will continue giving for years to come." Thank you class of 1966! |
